Adult Programs

the Winter 2025 Session has begun!

Fees, Dates and Programs are subject to change. Anyone under the age of 13 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian while at the Mandel Recreation Center. 

Registration for classes may be done through the “Register Here” button under your desired program, via phone, or in person at 340 Seaview Avenue, Palm Beach.  All fees must be paid at the time of registration.

Enrichment Programs

Mah Jongg for Beginners

Join Gillian Kennedy Wright as she introduces players to the world of Mah Jongg. At the end of this six-week program participants will be able to engage in a fluid game.

Sound Bath

Sound Bath

Rejuvenate your mind & body with Sound Bath sessions. Utilizing gongs, crystal bowls, and Koshi chimes, Sound Baths help you achieve deeper states of relaxation, which can lead to better sleep, reduced stress levels, and improved moods. Pre-registration required.

Spanish

This fun, engaging and intimate class with Ruthy Muñoz will cultivate your love for the Spanish language and focuses on developing and improving conversational skills through interactive vocabulary building, pronunciation, grammar activities, and cultural experiences. *Week 9 will be an offsite cultural experience- requires an additional fee.

RAMP Linguistic Society offers you an opportunity to expand your conversational skills in a fun and safe learning environment. Each week our class will delve into a new topic, thereby increasing our students’ listening, speaking, and comprehension skills.

Italian at the Mandel

Laura Antonacci, a native Italian, makes learning Italian easy and fun. Laura conducts class almost entirely in the target language and focuses on the development of conversational skills. Students will become acquainted with the culture, music, and food of Italy through web-site material, practical dialogues and Italian song and games. 

French at the Mandel

Michele Bradley makes learning French easy and fun. Michele conducts class almost entirely in the target language and focuses on the development of conversational skills. Students will become acquainted with the culture, music, and food of France. 

A mix of full-body stretching and core strengthening to leave you feeling relaxed yet strong.  A combination of standing, kneeling and mat-based yoga and Pilates movements will help you increase flexibility and strength!

Fitness & Wellness Programs

Exercise helps control your weight, reduces your risk of heart diseases, helps your body manage blood sugar and insulin levels, improves mental health and mood and helps keep your thinking, learning, and judgment skills sharp as you age. Designed to get you into tip top shape, our exercise classes, taught by certified instructors, are perfect for any fitness level or ability.

Rollology (50 min)

Way more than foam rolling!  Improve your game, posture, and core strength through this fitness program created by Master Pilates instructor Alyson Limehouse.  Monthly clinics offer more in-depth introduction to equipment and exercise program.

Yoga (50 min)

A blend of seated, standing, and lying postures to improve mobility and flexibility.

Sculpt & Burn (45 min)

Formerly “Total Body Conditioning”, this class blends strength training with classic aerobics, available to all fitness levels!

Butts & Guts (45 min)

Similar to a barre class, expect to work all the muscles of the lower body & core!

Bootcamp (45 min)

Join John for this 45-minute total body workout in a circuit-style perfect for all levels looking for a personal challenge!

Core and Stretch (45 min)

Release and strengthen the muscles of the abdomen and low back – now 45 minutes with Jen!
