Group Fitness

Exercise helps control your weight, reduces your risk of heart diseases, helps your body manage blood sugar and insulin levels, improves mental health and mood and helps keep your thinking, learning, and judgment skills sharp as you age. Designed to get you into tip top shape, our exercise classes, taught by certified instructors, are perfect for any fitness level or ability.

Fitness & WELLNESS PROGRAMS
Returning fall 2025

We’re always looking for passionate and certified fitness instructors to bring group exercise classes to our community.  If you’re interested in teaching in one of the most sought-after destinations in the world, email a brief class description and instructor bio to recreation@townofpalmbeach.com for an opportunity to join the Mandel Recreation Center’s group fitness offerings.

Yoga with Dan (50 min)

A blend of seated, standing, and lying postures to improve mobility and flexibility. 

Core Yoga with Jen (45 min)

Release and strengthen the muscles of the abdomen and lower back.

Restorative Yoga with Sarah (50 min)

Relax, reset, and restore – Join Sarah for this yin-style relaxing Sunday morning class.  Yin yoga poses are held for 2 – 4 minutes each, with moderate stress to increase circulation and improve flexibility.

Sculpt & Burn (45 min)

Formerly Total Body Conditioning, this class blends strength training with classic aerobics, available to all fitness levels!

Core, Stretch, & Stability (45 min)

Release and strengthen the entire body, with special attention on the muscles of the abdomen and lower back.  Challenge and build balance and flexibility.

Rollology (50 min)

Way more than foam rolling!  Improve your game, posture, and core strength through this fitness program created by Master Pilates instructor, Alyson Limehouse.  Monthly clinics offer more in-depth introduction to equipment and exercise program.

Bootcamp (45 min)

Join John for this 45-minute total body workout in an EMOM style, perfect for all levels looking for a personal challenge!

Butts & Guts (45 min)

Similar to a barre class, expect to work all the muscles of the lower body & core!
