Fieldhouse Reservations
The Smith Family Fieldhouse, located inside the Mandel Recreation Center, offers a versatile space lined for basketball and two pickleball courts. Perfect for both recreational play and organized events, the Fieldhouse is available for reservation, providing an ideal venue for sports and fitness activities.
Please note: Anyone under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian at the Mandel Recreation Center.
All private training MUST be done through Town-approved trainers. Outside trainers are not permitted as per Town Ordinance: Sec. 78-44-Vending. Code 1982, § 10-24.
Basketball
Basketball Court Reservations
You may reserve a half-court or full-court for a one or two hour block with a maximum of eight players. Limited equipment is available to check out at the front desk, however we encourage players to bring their own equipment. Payment is due at time of reservation. Resident reservations may be made up to two weeks in advance. Nonresident reservations may be made up to one week in advance.
A 24hr cancelation notice must be given for a refund/credit to be issued.

Private Basketball Training Policy
The Mandel Recreation Center has adopted a new approval process for all outside basketball trainers. Anyone providing private basketball instruction at the facility must be registered and approved before conducting training sessions. Approved trainers may reserve court space at the standard court reservation fee, subject to availability, and must comply with all facility rules. This policy helps ensure a safe and consistent experience for all participants.
Requirements:
Trainer Registration Fee – $500 annually

Pickleball
Pickleball Court Reservations
Pickleball play is available Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 10:30am -1:30pm. You may reserve a Pickleball court for a one or two hour block. Singles or doubles play is allowed. Limited equipment is available to check out at the front desk, however we encourage players to bring their own equipment. Payment is due at the time of reservation. Reservations must be made a day in advance to allow for set-up. Limited equipment is available to check out at the front desk, however we encourage players to bring their own equipment.
