The Mandel Recreation Center is offering the outdoor basketball court for pickleball use on a first come, first serve basis. Players must bring their own equipment. The court will be reserved for pickleball every:

You may reserve a pickleball court for a one or two hour block. Paddles and balls are available for use on a limited basis. Payment is due at time of reservation. Reservations must be made at least one day in advance to allow for set-up. Reservations may be made up to two weeks in advance, multiple reservations are allowed. Cancellations must be made at least one day in advance to receive a credit or refund.
Learn everything from mastering basic shots and footwork to advanced strategies, game positioning, and perfecting your serve.
Mondays 10:30am – 12:00pm
This clinic covers the basics of pickleball, including foundational skills, court positioning, and basic strategies to help new and developing players build confidence and improve their game.
Wednesdays 10:30am – 12:00pm
Players focus on refining techniques, enhancing consistency, and developing game tactics for players looking to advance their skills and elevate their performance.
Fridays 12:30 – 2:00pm
A mix of open play with guided coaching, where players can practice in real game situations while receiving tips on advanced strategies, court awareness, and tactical decision-making.

Chaz is a military child having spent most of life in Germany and South Korea. He played many sports, with a passion for soccer, later playing at the college level. He was introduced to the game of Pickleball in the summer of 2016 by his uncle in Orlando, FL. After the evening of winning, losing, and being taught the amazing game, he was hooked. In 2017, Chaz competed in his first of many tournaments, winning gold, silver, and bronze medals in both singles and doubles throughout the years. Chaz now aims to continue the path of competing in tournaments at the top level and spreading the joy, knowledge, and growth of the sport with everyone.
